ID marks should be marked on the inner and outer sides of pipes.  Image-ID Mark (Photo Credit: Ritesh Raj)  (3.) To check the inner and outer diameter of pipes.   (4.) Smooth finishing and before dispatch of RCC pipes cement slurry or grouting where required.   (5.) Load test is required for RCC pipes as per IS codes. It is different for each dia, of RCC pipes.  Image-Plate Load Test (Photo Credit: Ritesh Raj)   (6.) Concrete mix design checked and in which cement content, cement brand, and water-cement ratio should be checked.  (7.) The straightness test to be checked of RCC pipes through the straightness rods to collinear visible.   (8.) As per requirement 2% of hydro tests are to be checked as IS:458 of the total...

It is the time when cement loose their plasticity is called final setting time (or needle make to fail on impression on sample).

Important Points:-

(i) 5 mm dia. needle is used.

(ii) No movement should be done when mould placing for initial setting test to till final setting test.

Test Procedure:-

(i) Same mould is used, that was used in initial setting time test.

(ii) After 30 minutes frequency we will make free fall condition.

(iii) After sometimes mould will be hard and no any impression will make on it and its plasticity will be zero.

(iv) (Now, example) Mould placing time=8:25 A.M.

      Present time=11:30 A.M.

      Final Setting time=185 minutes

Note:-Always remember final setting time of cement will not more than 600 minutes (i.e. 10 hours) and initial setting time of cement will be minimum 30 minimum.
