When the energy received by earth from the sun is known as
“solar energy”. Solar energy is comes under renewable energy. Solar radiation
is the utilized by the solar plates for further use. The working procedure of
solar system is capture, convert and then distribution.

Solar system is categorized in
two parts:-
(1.) Passive Solar:- In
this system the selected material have light dispersion properties and
designing spaces that the circulate air naturally. This system reduces the need
for alternative resourcs and generally focuses on demand side technologies.
(2.) Active Solar:-This
system is based on photovoltaic modules (i.e. also known as photovoltaic
panels) and collectors of solar thermal system to convert sun light into their
useful output. Its increases the supply of energy.

Working Procedure:-
In this system with the use of photovoltaic, sun light is
directly converted into electricity.A large area (which is not a fertile land), is covered with
many solar plates and they are fixed with their foundation. Semiconductor
theory is playing an important role in the whole functions. With the help of
semi conductor sun light produced electricity. When the sun light strikes on
the semi conductor, electrons will free and electric current will produced.

Note:-
(1.) Solar
energy is the fastest growing energy sector.
(2.) India
plays a lead role of the improvement of solar power generation.
(3.) With
the support of 121 nations International Solar Alliance (ISA) was initiated by
India.
(4.) The
head quarter of this alliance is in Gwal Pahari, Gurugram (Haryana).
(5.) The
first initiative was taken by honorable Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at
the India-Africa summit.
(6.) The
main purpose of ISA is- Bring together a group of nations to endorse clean
energy, sustainable environment, public transport and climate.

Solar energy is the eco-friendly project.
Initially its installation cost is more, but after installation it will require
low maintenance cost. Globally, climate change is the main issue for world
wide. In this situation, solar energy is the best option for power generation.
The load of the environment will reduce. We can control our cost with same time
through solar energy.
