ID marks should be marked on the inner and outer sides of pipes.  Image-ID Mark (Photo Credit: Ritesh Raj)  (3.) To check the inner and outer diameter of pipes.   (4.) Smooth finishing and before dispatch of RCC pipes cement slurry or grouting where required.   (5.) Load test is required for RCC pipes as per IS codes. It is different for each dia, of RCC pipes.  Image-Plate Load Test (Photo Credit: Ritesh Raj)   (6.) Concrete mix design checked and in which cement content, cement brand, and water-cement ratio should be checked.  (7.) The straightness test to be checked of RCC pipes through the straightness rods to collinear visible.   (8.) As per requirement 2% of hydro tests are to be checked as IS:458 of the total...

Types of Foundation

Foundation denoted the meaning of base. For construction industry, foundation plays an important on massive level role. As per site condition and nature of soil foundation of any structure will decide by design engineer/civil engineer.

Types of Foundation:-

Generally two types of foundation is used :-

(1.) Deep Foundation

(2.) Shallow Foundation

Types of Deep Foundation:-

(1.) Pile Foundation

(2.) Cassion Foundation--- (a.) Open Cassion

                                           (b.) Pneumatic Cassion

Types of Shallow Foundation:-

      (1.)  Combined Footing

      (2.)  Strip Footing

(3.)  Strap Footing

      (4.)  Isolated Footing

(5.)  Raft/Mat Foundation

Pile Foundation:-

Pile foundation is used where; there soil bearing capacity is very low. It is a deep foundation. Pile foundation distributes loads from structure to hard strata. Depth of pile foundation is too more. In the process of concreting during piling, firstly we prepare the cage in which long length reinforcement bind through helical reinforcement and binding wire. Apply welding at the joint of reinforcement and also apply “L” and cover block.
